The researchers of VUB Architectural Engineering and project managers joined forces with practitioners to research and develop #sustainable #renovation #strategies for #postwar #heritage in #Brussels by using the VUB student residences by Willy Van Der Meeren as #Living #Lab.

The team consisting of MAKER-architecten, ORIGIN ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING, Beneens bouw en interieur, VK architects+engineers, VITO and JUUNOO developed the renovation strategies that will be implemented.

Monday evening, the 27th of February, Lieven De Groote, MAKER architecten and Charlotte Nys, ORIGIN ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING, will give a presentation on the research and design procedure for the renovation of the Willy Van Der Meeren student residences.
